Namysto is a vibrant Ukrainian children’s dance group based in San Diego, formed in 2023 to celebrate and preserve Ukrainian culture through dance. With over 25 talented young dancers, many of whom recently arrived from Ukraine following the onset of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Namysto offers a unique blend of contemporary and traditional Ukrainian dances. These children, under the expert guidance of their dedicated teacher, Olya Gnip, are not just learning to dance—they are building a sense of community, resilience, and pride in their heritage.
However, the group faces significant financial challenges. To continue their rehearsals and performances, Namysto urgently needs support to cover the costs of renting rehearsal space and purchasing costumes.
