The Russian invasion of Ukraine is in its 14th month and with the world’s help, Ukrainians have survived the brutal winter. Our latest 40-foot container with winter gear has successfully arrived in Ukraine: 800 boxes of medical supplies, warm clothes, blankets, generators, and flashlights are currently being distributed to multiple organizations on the ground.
While spring will bring warmer weather, the humanitarian needs of this war keep increasing. Internal refugees and families of deceased soldiers lack basic hygiene supplies. Injured soldiers in hospitals need t-shirts and adult diapers while they recover. Mosquito netting and insect repellent will be needed to deal with higher temperatures and muddy conditions.
House of Ukraine’s “Spring Campaign” will run from April 1 through May 1, 2023, and will fill and send a shipping container with medical and humanitarian aid.
A comprehensive list of all needed NEW and unexpired items is listed below. And as always, we will gladly accept monetary donations to make this campaign a reality. All donations are tax-deductible. Here are ideas on how to get items Ukraine desperately needs right now:
- Search for items on Next Door app or Buy Nothing groups in your local areas
- Organize drives in your local churches and schools
- Approach your local stores, hospitals and pharmacies
