San Diego’s General Atomics offers two advanced drones to Ukraine

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – General Atomics in San Diego, a company that specializes in military-grade drones, offered to sell Ukraine two MQ-9 Reaper drones for $1 each.

The symbolic sale could assist Ukraine in ending the conflict with Russia, but would still cost the Ukrainian government millions of dollars for upkeep and repair.

The two drones would be capable of undertaking 24-hour missions loaded with missiles and bombs. General Atomics also offered to complete setup and training in Ukraine, all included in the sale of the drones. The sale requires approval by the U.S. government.
