Bring: Signs, flags, Ukrainian shirts, etc.
Theme of our Saturday’s rally this weekend is being grateful. We will thank the USA and other allies who have been supporting Ukraine for these past 9 months in our struggle against this evil that the Russian Federation brought on Ukraine. Without world support we cannot win this war, and the more the world helps and gets involved, the faster Ukraine gets Russian troops out. So this Saturday we will say Thank you to everyone who is supporting us.
On February 24th, Russia invaded Ukraine and ever since Ukraine has been fighting for its freedom and sovereignty with tens of thousands killed, hundreds of thousands injured, and millions forced out of their homes. Currently the whole country has to live with scheduled blackouts since the enemy has been systematically destroying energy infrastructure all over the country, hoping in that way to intimidate and cause another wave of refugee migration to Western Europe.
Many are fatigued by the war, however, this is the largest war in Europe since World War II, that came with genocide against Ukrainian population, multitude of war crimes and utterly destruction of the infrastructure of the country. This war deserves our full attention because the entire world is affected by the war in Ukraine. On the global scale Ukraine plays an important role and we need to keep reminding the public about it. Our rally is to raise awareness and remind society that the war in Ukraine is not over!
