Katya is the bestselling author of “Matera vam ne naimychka, abo Chomu dity – tse prekrasno” (“Your Mom’s Not Your Maid, or Why Children Are Wonderful”), a proud mother of four sons, and a blogger. She was born and raised in the small town of Hoshcha in the Rivne region of Ukraine. In 2014, she moved to the US and now lives in San Diego.

In her new book, Katya Bliostka shares her personal journey – from hanging out with girlfriends outside the local “dyskoteka” (disco) and first dates to arguments with her husband and discovering her own needs.

This candid story covers love and relationships with men, growing up in a small town, and the journey to adulthood.

But most importantly, it’s a story about choices and self-love as the foundation of all relationships. From teenage girl to grown woman – the author shares her perspectives with humor, self-deprecation, and just the right sprinkle of colorful language!
