For 65 years, the House of Ukraine in Balboa Park has been a place of heritage, hope, and connection. Founded in 1960 by Ukrainian refugees after World War II, our cottage has welcomed visitors with music, dance, literature, and our annual Lawn Program — helping San Diegans and guests from around the world embrace Ukrainian culture. Since the full-scale invasion in 2022, our mission has grown beyond cultural preservation. We’ve become a humanitarian hub — delivering medical supplies, clothing, and emergency aid to families in need. Thanks to friends like you, we’ve sent hundreds of thousands of dollars in relief and stood by those facing unimaginable hardship.
On October 11, 2025, join us for our 65th Anniversary Gala at Riverwalk Golf Club, featuring the incredible Valeria Vovk — a gifted Ukrainian singer-songwriter whose heartfelt performances blend folk, jazz, and soul into an unforgettable musical experience.
Our fundraiser page is up. Feel free to share with those who cannot make it to the event, but would like to help.
