Don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet Azov Seargeant Arsenii Fedosyuk and founders of the Association of Azovstal Defenders’ Families at a private dinner over a scrumptious homemade Ukrainian meal. You will get to meet in person and mingle with our guests of honor who work tirelessly to shed light on Russian war crimes and to bring back the rest of Azovstal defenders from Russian captivity.

Program:
6:00 pm – Door opens for you to enjoy cash bar and appetizers, mingling with our honored guests (while the rest of the guests are fighting traffic)
7:00 pm – Main courses are served (traditional Ukrainian food, consisting of borshcht with homemade pampushky, varenyky and golubci)
8:00 pm – live auction (Azov team will be signing autographs) and raffle winners will be announced.
9:00 pm – desert and live music by U3Zub

Meet:
Founders and leaders of the Association of Azovstal Defenders’ Families: Kateryna Prokopenko and Yuliia Fedosiuk. And Arsenii Fedosiuk, a sergeant in the Azov Brigade, who was one of the Mariupol defenders at Azovstal, who was wounded, and spent more than half a year in Russian captivity (including a few months in Olenivka). Now he works tirelessly to bring the rest of his fellow Azovstal defenders back, and also dreams about going back to serve his country on the frontlines.

More about our guests:
Arsenii Fedosiuk, 30 years old. Sergeant in the Azov Brigade
Arsenii was born in Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. He graduated from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a BA in history. After graduating in 2014, he joined the Ukraine army as a volunteer. Arsenii was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv, during which he was wounded by the Berkut. He participated in the battles for Ilovaysk, Shyrokyne, Maryanka, and Pavlopol. He also fought to hold the defense of the Svitlodarskaya Bulge in 2019. In 2022, he participated in the defense of Mariupol, during which he was again wounded. From May 18 to December 31, 2022, Arsenii was held in Russian captivity as a prisoner of war. After his release, he underwent treatment and rehabilitation due to the injuries he sustained in captivity. Arsenii represents the interests of Azov and Azov POWs internationally.

Kateryna Prokopenko is a wife of Azov Commander Denys Prokopenko.
Until February 24, 2022, Kateryna worked as an illustrator and animator. After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she instead started providing volunteer help for Azov. After an audience with the Pope, she founded, together with Yuliia Fedosiuk, an organization to unite families of Azov military personnel. Kateryna represents the interests of Azov POWs in Ukraine as well as throughout the world. She also acts as the main coordinator between the Ukrainian authorities and the families of POWs. Kateryna visited the United States, Germany, France, Italy, and Poland, where she spoke with the authorities and the public to raise awareness about the Azov POWs. In Ukraine, Kateryna is a symbol of the struggle for the freedom of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Yuliia Fedosiuk is a wife of Arsenii Fedosiuk.
Yulia was born in Dobromyl’ a city in the Lviv region. She graduated from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University and holds a BA in philosophy. Before Russia’s full-scale invasion, Yuliia worked in the Ukrainian Parliament as assistant to the deputy of the ruling party. In 2017, she met her husband Arseniy. On February 23, 2022 Arseniy decide to stay in Mariupol to defend Azovstal. Following the order of President Zelensky to surrender, Arseniy, along with other commanders and soldiers, was taken prisoner; they are being held in captivity in the occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia. Together with Kateryna Prokopenko, Yuliia founded the Association of of Azovstal, and has become a fearless and worldwide fighter for the lives of Azov brigade prisoners who remain imprisoned.
