A Rising Fury follows a couple of hopeful Ukrainian idealists from the time they met at the peaceful protest in Kyiv in 2013 to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. This movie is an opportunity to learn about events in Ukraine preceding the full-scale Russian invasion from eye-witness accounts. It’s an intimate and close look into what it takes to stand up for democratic values in Ukraine. The movie shows how ordinary people fight for freedom from oppression and defend Ukraine from a cruel external enemy. This movie will give you a better understanding and insight into today’s war raging in the center of Europe that forced over 3 million Ukrainians to leave their homeland for safety.
